The University is offering single-year seed grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 to support research collaborations in the following categories:

• Agriculture
• Basic Physical Sciences
• Educational Sciences
• Human/Animal Health
• Human Performance/Biometrics
• Humanities/Creative Activities
• National/Homeland Security

These grants aim to foster new and existing research collaborations across two or more Nebraska campuses* that focus on:

• Generating preliminary data critical for federally funded research grant proposals or resubmissions.
• Developing capabilities that enable the 榴莲视频官方's National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI) to secure contract funding from its sponsor (U.S. Strategic Command), other Department of Defense entities, or other federal agencies.

*For NSRI priority-topic projects, collaboration with a NSRI content expert is encouraged. Collaborating with such an expert and a PI/Co-PI from a single campus meets the collaboration requirement. Alternatively, PI/Co-PIs from multiple campuses without an NSRI expert also fulfill the requirement.
